Chinese-American takeout-style stir-fry with tender beef and crisp broccoli in savory sauce

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 cloves / 1-inch piece garlic and ginger

Instructions

  1. 1.Marinate beef in soy sauce and cornstarch 15 minutes.
  2. 2.Blanch broccoli in boiling water 2 minutes; drain.
  3. 3.Sear beef in a hot wok in batches; remove.
  4. 4.Stir-fry garlic and ginger, add sauce ingredients, return beef and broccoli; toss and serve.
