Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • as needed onion, ginger, garlic
  • 1.5 cups tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon each garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder
  • to serve naan or basmati rice

Instructions

  1. 1.Marinate chicken with yogurt and spices for 1 hour; cook in a hot skillet until lightly charred.
  2. 2.Sauté onion, ginger, and garlic in butter; add spices and cook 2 minutes.
  3. 3.Add tomato puree, simmer 15 minutes; blend smooth, return to pan.
  4. 4.Stir in cream and chicken; simmer 10 minutes. Serve with naan.
