Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • as needed onion, ginger, garlic
  • 1 teaspoon each cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne
  • 2 cups, cooked basmati rice

Instructions

  1. 1.Marinate chicken in yogurt, garam masala, and salt at least 1 hour; broil or grill until charred.
  2. 2.Sauté onion, ginger, and garlic; add spices and cook 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. 3.Add tomatoes and simmer 15 minutes; blend smooth, return to pan.
  4. 4.Stir in cream and grilled chicken; simmer 10 minutes. Serve with basmati rice.
