Korean Fried Chicken

Double-fried extra-crispy chicken wings glazed with a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup potato starch or cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • to garnish sesame seeds and sliced scallions

Instructions

  1. 1.Pat wings dry; coat in seasoned starch.
  2. 2.Fry at 325°F for 8 minutes; remove, let rest 5 minutes, then fry again at 375°F until super crispy.
  3. 3.Simmer gochujang, soy sauce, honey, and garlic until glossy.
  4. 4.Toss hot wings in sauce; top with sesame seeds and scallions.
