Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyère, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons / 1/2 cup flour, panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. 1.Cook pasta; make roux with butter and flour, whisk in milk until thick.
  2. 2.Melt cheeses into sauce; stir in cream cheese.
  3. 3.Combine with pasta; transfer to baking dish.
  4. 4.Top with panko and butter; broil 3 minutes until golden and crispy.
