Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • as needed sugar, eggs, baking soda, vinegar
  • for frosting cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. 1.Whisk dry ingredients; mix wet ingredients with food coloring.
  2. 2.Combine wet and dry; bake in lined muffin tin at 350°F for 18-20 minutes.
  3. 3.Beat cream cheese and butter; mix in powdered sugar for frosting.
  4. 4.Cool completely before frosting.
