Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 each diced onion, celery, carrot
  • 1 cup dry white or red wine
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 lb spaghetti

Instructions

  1. 1.Sauté soffritto (onion, celery, carrot) until soft; add meat, cook until browned.
  2. 2.Add wine and simmer until absorbed; stir in milk and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. 3.Add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes; simmer partially covered for 90 minutes.
  4. 4.Season and toss with al dente spaghetti; serve with Parmesan.
